COMPLIANCE

Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture (HDOA) issued an Interim Rule to minimize the risk of spreading CRB and other invasive pests. Compliance agreements are signed by businesses that work with CRB host palms and materials to continue operating with decreased risk of causing new CRB infestation.

STEPS TO COMPLIANCE:

1)

Review compliance agreement text. If needed, make adjustments to work plan to satisfy requirements.

Unofficial plain language and visual summaries of requirements may help when communicating with your teams. Direct questions to info@crbhawaii.org or 808-679-5244 (call/text).

2)

Schedule training for all staff who work with CRB host material or CRB host palms or complete online training. After watching the training video, fill out this form to certify completion.

3)

Submit your signed agreement to HDOA via the CRB Response (pages 1, 2, and 19 must be filled out). Email copies to info@crbhawaii.org or mail to 1849 Auiki St, Honolulu HI, 96819.

4)

Once HDOA approves and signs the compliance agreement, you will be emailed a final copy. Save this copy for your records. Active compliance agreements are required for all businesses who transport CRB Host Material or CRB Host Palms.
